UF Graduate Studies Building (Hough Hall) 

This 70,000 sq. Ft. facility includes classrooms, seminar and meeting rooms, and study/lounge space for graduate students, along with staff offices. The facility includes standard mixed air handling units with energy recovery elements and an extensive energy management system. The project includes an extensive lighting control system used to control public spaces, private offices and multi-media equipment. The building also includes a solar hot water system and day-lighting controls. Moses Engineering provided commissioning services for all HVAC, lighting control, access control, normal power, solar hot water, building envelope, and automated control systems.

Moses Engineering served as the 3rd party commissioning agent on this project. Moses Engineering provided overall direction of the commissioning process during the design, construction, and post construction phase. A final report was developed to document the Cx process and results. A systems manual was developed to assist the facility management staff with regard to maintenance and re-testing efforts. Scope include 1 year of post-warranty quarterly inspection services.
